Patients can remove aligners when cleaning their teeth and when eating. Patients should regularly visit our dental office every few weeks as per the advice we provide. These visits can help check the progress of the treatment. While the aligners are being worn, the patient can only consume water. Most cases require the placement of tooth colored attachments, which allow for the required movements. The attachments can vary in size and shape, such as square, triangular, or tear drop. The position of these attachments are unique to each case and is dependent on how we need to move the tooth.
